Robert Half is seeking a Network Engineer for a client in the Quad Cities Surrounding Area who has the ability to design and architect solutions for networks, systems, and overall infrastructure environments.   • Responsible for design and architecture and configuration of network devices

  • Solving issues with the network such as routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and wireless networks.

  • Conduct network assessments and audits as needed

  • Implement and regulate optimal security measures.

  • Overseeing network performance, and proactively tackling potential issues.

  • Generating and maintaining thorough network documentation.

Requirements

MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN USA

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 4+ years on applied job experience

  • Experience with Windows, AD, Microsoft 365

  • Comfortable with network routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers

  • Sound understanding of network protocols and network services

  • Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
