Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team specializing in the remanufacturing of industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for welding and fabricating components for rotary & diverter valves, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and durability. This role involves welding/fabricating, inspection/quality control, and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate components for rotary & diverter valves.

• Ensure all products meet the highest standards of quality and durability.

• Perform inspection and quality control on welded and fabricated components.

• Conduct maintenance tasks as needed.

• Interpret CAD/technical drawings.

• Perform welding on materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum.

• Cut, shape, and prepare materials using equipment like grinders, plasma cutters, and saws.

Essential Skills

• Preferably 2-4 years of experience as a welder/fabricator in a manufacturing or remanufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding, with a focus on precision work.

• Experience using carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and some aluminum.

• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Experience with machining tools and techniques is highly desirable but not required.

Work Environment

You will work in a small shop environment with 2-3 people each day, where teamwork is highly valued. The dress code includes boots, jeans, and a t-shirt.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
