Description We are seeking an Accounting Coordinator based in DES MOINES, Iowa, United States. The successful candidate will be part of our team and will play a key role in facilitating various accounting tasks. The role involves managing accounts receivable and payable activities, as well as other accounting duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer billing and work with Excel reports to assist with program sale billing

• Download UPS spreadsheet daily and process credit applications

• Follow up with customers on past dues and settle customer credit cards as needed

• Enter daily deposits and process invoices daily

• Address invoice discrepancies with vendors and ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner

• Perform bank and credit card reconciliation

• Prepare sales tax reports on a monthly basis and balance inventory monthly

• Participate in month-end activities and assist the Accounting Manager as needed. Requirements • Must possess skills in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary

• Must be experienced in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Billing experience is required

• Must have strong Data Entry skills

• Proficiency in Invoice Processing is necessary

• Microsoft Excel skills are required

• Experience with QuickBooks is necessary

• Must have working knowledge of SAP

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

• Proven experience as an Accounting Coordinator or similar role

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information

• Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is located.
