Aerotek Aircraft Structures Mechanic in Des Moines, Iowa

Job Title: Structures Mechanic

Seeking a skilled Structures Mechanic to perform various structural and sheetmetal works such as modifications and repairs on a diverse range of corporate airframes. Responsibilities include using proper hand tools to ensure tasks are completed in a timely, clean, safe, and professional manner with no rework. The role also involves accurately ordering general aircraft parts as needed and preparing various documents for record-keeping in compliance with Company policies and FAA regulations. This includes managing work orders, discrepancies, corrective actions, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives Compliance statements.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in LINCOLN, Nebraska.

Work Environment

The work environment is inside a temperature-controlled hangar with heated floors during winter, ensuring a comfortable and clean workspace. Various shifts are available: 1st shift from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, 2nd shift from 2:00 pm to 12:00 am Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, and Weekend shifts from Friday-Sunday working three 12-hour shifts.
