Our client is looking for an Accounting Manager / Assistant Controller at a thriving company on the cusp of its 10-year anniversary. This position requires a BS in Accounting & at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the manufacturing or construction industry. Requirements

• Familiarity with Vertex Sales & Use Tax software

• Ability to oversee and execute month-end close procedures

• Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements

• Expertise in job cost analysis and reporting

• Ability to draft and analyze financial statements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy in work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred

• Previous experience in a similar role is a must
