What You'll Do

The Assistant Director is responsible for the oversight and implementation of LSI's Immigrant and Refugee Community Services in the Des Moines metro service area. The role supports the operational excellence of programs and services through strong program administration and team member development. The Assistant Director will supervise program managers in the successful provision of services and works closely with internal support teams to plan and delivery resources to support quality service provision. The Assistant Director is a member of the departmental and site leadership team and will support and promote site-specific service integration and agency cooperation. Under the leadership of the Director, the Assistant Director will be responsible for managing and developing team members, ensuring contract deliverables are achieved, successfully meeting budget goals, and maintaining strong internal partnerships.

What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree in health or human service-related field is required. Masters degree in social work, public administration, non-profit management or business preferred.

Minimum of ten years of related experience, specifically in human services and/or refugee and immigrant services, with progressive levels of responsibility and oversight.
