Position: AWS CLOUD ENGINEER

Location: REMOTE (CANDIDATE MUST RESIDE IN IOWA, WITH ABILITY TO DRIVE TO OFFICE UP TO 20%)

Salary: UP TO $90-130K PLUS EXCELLENT BENEFITS

Robert Half is hiring a dynamic and committed AWS Support Engineer on behalf of our client. This individual will be responsible for effectively responding to and addressing customer issues related to the AWS platform. This is a great opportunity to enhance your technical expertise and provide best-in-class customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Address customer issues swiftly and professionally via chat, phone, and email

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to the AWS platform

• Escalate more complicated issues to senior support staff as necessary

• Document customer interactions and technical issues using a ticketing system

• Continuously improve knowledge and skills related to the platform to provide better support to customers

Qualifications:

• 5-7+ years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in an AWS environment

• Strong problem-solving abilities and familiarity with technical troubleshooting

• Excellent communication skills and a strong emphasis on customer service

• Self-motivated and ability to function independently or collaboratively within a team

Requirements • Proficient in Cloud Technologies

• Strong skills in Automation

• Experience with AWS Technologies

• Knowledge of Configuration Management

• Familiar with Continuous Integration (CI)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks

• Proactive and able to work independently

• Knowledge of relevant programming languages, such as JavaScript or Python

• Understanding of system design and architecture

• Familiarity with database technologies, such as SQL or NoSQL

• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus

• Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are beneficial. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
