Animal Rescue League of Iowa Call Center - Customer Experience Technician in Des Moines, Iowa

The Animal Rescue League of Iowa (ARL) is seeking a part -time Customer Experience Technician - Call Center to join the Call Center team at the ARL! This position plays a vital role in assisting the public and pets in a compassionate and empathetic manner via phone. After initial training, this position works remotely.

Key Responsibilities include cultivating positive customer relations, providing consistent, positive customer experience to all callers and customers, providing compassionate counseling, affordable services, and educational resources, responding to customer inquiries via phone or email, assisting customers with reunification process of lost pets, and providing community resources and education to the general public.
We are seeking qualified candidates who have a High School diploma or GED with preferably two years of relevant experience in customer service. A qualified candidate will also be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, proficient with Microsoft Suite and the ability to learn new software systems, have strong communication skills and openness to new ideas, is a self-motivated team player and someone with a commitment to fostering a positive, supportive culture at the ARL.
