As a Compliance Advisor, you will provide compliance support to our qualified retirement plan business, which helps over 13 million individuals work toward their financial goals. You will play a crucial role in ensuring flawless adherence to regulatory and compliance standards. Your proven expertise in navigating complex regulatory landscapes will be instrumental in helping our organization compete in a highly regulated industry.

Here are a few examples of the kinds of things you'll do when you join our Compliance team:

  • Identify and interpret new laws, regulations, and other government guidance that impact our Retirement business, and help our business partners to understand the impact and necessary changes to our operations,

  • Provide technical advice and serve as subject matter expert regarding Department of Labor regulations, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, Internal Revenue Service regulations, state insurance laws, and other requirements, governing workplace retirement benefits,

  • Collaborate with business partners/leaders to provide consultative compliance expertise regarding business initiatives, processes, and general questions received,

  • Evaluate policies, procedures, and documentation to identify any gaps or deficiencies in the compliance program, and work with compliance and business leaders to resolve them, and

  • Educate administrative and operational employees on compliance topics.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 6+ years of industry experience working with qualified retirement plans. Compliance experience preferred

  • Knowledgeable about applicable compliance and legal issues, various company products and services, and department operations.

  • Technical expertise and broad knowledge of pension laws and regulations, plan and contract provisions, as well as company products and services.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, decision making, problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills, with a high attention to detail.

  • Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint and Teams.

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$95200 - $182400 / year

Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
