  • Serve as the liaison for the Office of the CISO, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders to drive information security initiatives and foster a culture of security awareness.

  • Lead transformative maturity, promoting innovative approaches to information security that enhance Teradata's resilience against cyber threats.

  • Represent the CISO in meetings, conferences, and other forums, articulating cybersecurity strategies and priorities effectively.

  • Manage a portfolio of strategic projects related to information security, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Establish and maintain project management frameworks and methodologies to ensure standardized execution of projects across the information security department.

  • Monitor project budgets, resource allocations, and timelines, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

  • Develop and implement performance monitoring systems to track the effectiveness of information security initiatives and operational activities.

  • Work with the CISO leadership team to develop and actively monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of information security departmental programs and identify areas for improvement.

  • Provide regular updates to the CISO and executive leadership on the status of information security efforts, including achievements, challenges, and strategic adjustments.

  • Establish and maintain accountability frameworks to ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations within the information security team and across collaborative efforts with other departments.

  • Develop governance structures to support effective decision-making and alignment of information security initiatives with business priorities.

  • Lead by example to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the information security team.

  • Support the professional development of team members, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to meet the demands of their roles.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of both the business and technical aspects of information security, leveraging this knowledge to guide strategic decisions and operational improvements.

  • Serve as an expert advisor to the CISO and other executives on matters related to information security risks, trends, and best practices.

  • Demonstrate adaptability to the dynamic and agile nature of the business environment, effectively managing changes and uncertainties.
