Wells Fargo Equipment Finance Underwriting Associate Manager in DES MOINES, Iowa

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Equipment Finance Underwriting Associate Manager to Manage a team of Underwriters.

In this role, you will:

  • Supervise an Equipment Finance Underwriting team in making lending decisions on a wide range of loan and lease products

  • Ensure timely completion, quality, and compliance within Equipment Finance Underwriting functional area

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and productivity enhancement in less complex tasks in Equipment Finance Underwriting functional area

  • Make day-to-day supervisory and tactical decisions and resolve issues related to team supervision, work allocation, and daily operations under direction of Equipment Finance Underwriting functional area management

  • Collaborate and consult with Equipment Finance Underwriting peers and colleagues, to move out routine operational activities

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Equipment Finance Underwriting

  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 2+ years of Equipment Finance Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 1+ years of Leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior commercial lending experience in either commercial equipment finance, construction or other commercial lending segments.

  • 2+ years of lending experience in one or a combination of the following: underwriting, financial analysis, loan resolution or deal structuring in financial services, private banking, corporate/investment banking, or capital markets

  • Proficiency with WFEF systems including Siebel

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$96,600.00 - $171,800.00
