The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of the company's physical assets by managing the maintenance of existing ones. This position exists to support the Facilities Manager in executing various tasks related to facility management, ensuring that the work environment is safe, functional, and conducive to the company's operations. The role is pivotal in maintaining the company's infrastructure, which is critical to the overall success and efficiency of the organization.

Function:

  • Leads and/or assists in the planning, coordination, and execution of facilities-related projects, including groundskeeping upkeep, routine maintenance, and renovations across corporate headquarters and Manufacturing plant.

  • Facilitates effective communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Ensures all relevant documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.

  • Ensures all facilities adhere to relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conducts regular safety audits, maintaining a safe workplace for all employees.

  • Manages inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring all necessary tools are available and functional.

    Requirements:

    High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in building maintenance a plus. PC Skills, including MS Office and Outlook required. Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints. Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations is essential. Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills required, Must work effectively under pressure and exercise good judgment. Must be able to squat, lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.

    Final candidates will be required to pass a post-offer pre-employment physical and drug screen.
