What you will do:
Prioritize projects aligned with Feed Energy customer needs.
Facilitate clear communication with customers regarding work schedules, expectations, and deliverables.
Address customer escalations swiftly, including crisis response (e.g., tank failures).
Work hand in hand with the sales team on customer needs and priorities.
Lead efforts to provide the Feed Energy experience around mechanical service efforts with customers.
Actively participate in equipment installation, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
Support technicians on high-demand jobs to maintain team synergy and output.
Oversee reconciliation of small tools, consumables, and large equipment items.
Manage inventory cleanouts (cage/trailer) and improve accountability for materials.
Implement and monitor process flows to streamline mechanical service tasks.
Serve as the primary decision-maker for project execution and work order delegation.
Provide coaching, technical mentorship, and performance feedback for team members.
Leverage lessons learned from process mapping to optimize labor usage and reduce waste.
Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and develop solutions for ongoing process improvement.
Maintain detailed job logs, project status updates, and inventory usage reports.
Report project KPIs (e.g., on-time completion, customer satisfaction) to leadership
Requirements
What you will need:
High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications are a plus.
At least 5 years of experience in industrial/mechanical services, including project planning and leadership.
Experience with process improvement initiatives (e.g., mapping workflows).
Strong hands-on skills in equipment installation, pipefitting, welding, and troubleshooting.
Proficient in scheduling tools, inventory management, and customer communication.
Consider adding something about computer skills.
Medium to heavy work: moving up to 100 lbs.
Exposure to outdoor elements such as wind, precipitation, and varying temperatures.
Climbing, lifting, and repetitive motion are required
