MercyOne Newton is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon to restart our General Surgery practice. The role offers a competitive compensation including a $150,000 bonus, benefits day 1, paid malpractice and a generous retirement program.

Opportunity Highlights:

Bread and butter general surgery

High Endoscopy volume

Schedule- Clinic Time: 1-1/2 days per week, OR Time: 2-1/2 days per week (block)

Level IV ED

48 Beds

State of the art surgical suites w/ Stryker equipment- 3 OR suites and 2 Endoscopy suites

Day Hospitalist Service/Night Tele Hospitalist service

Access to Surgical subspecialties (Colo Rectal, Surgical Oncology, Breast and Bariatrics)

Full-service Laboratory- general chemistry, hematology and coagulation testing. Microbiology and pathology are sent to regional reference lab

Full Service Medical Imaging- CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, General Sonography same day for routine and basic testing
