Easter Seals of Iowa Help Desk and Systems Coordinator in Des Moines, Iowa
Easterseals Iowa is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Help Desk & Systems Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this critical position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of our IT infrastructure, while providing exceptional technical support to our staff.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive IT support to staff members, resolving technical issues and troubleshooting a wide range of hardware and software problems.
Manage and maintain agency IT systems, including Office 365, SUNNY, Raiser's Edge, Financial Edge, and iSolved.
Oversee IT contracts and vendor relationships, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct regular security assessments and implement strategies to safeguard sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Proactively identify opportunities to optimize and streamline back-office processes through effective utilization of technology.
Develop and deliver training programs to empower staff members with the necessary skills to navigate agency IT systems confidently.
Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the agency's SharePoint site for efficient information dissemination and collaboration.
Manage agency technology inventory and key fob system.
Assist with website maintenance and updates
Analyze results from bi-annual internal surveys to identify areas for improvement within the IT department.
Coordinate, conduct, and report safety drills for the main office location.
Serve as a backup for the Program and Support Specialist, providing additional support as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field (preferred)
Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT internal coordination or a similar role
CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience
Extensive knowledge of Office 365, communication, and information technologies
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across various platforms and devices
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to confidentiality and data security
Proactive and customer-service focused approach
Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check

Work schedule is in office, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Wage for the position starts at $18.00 per hour with an increase to $18.25 after successful completion of 90 day onboarding activities.
