Robert Half HRIS Manager in Des Moines, Iowa

Description We are in search of an HRIS Manager to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. This role focuses on overseeing and optimizing our Human Resource Information System (HRIS). The HRIS Manager will be instrumental in managing the HRIS platform, ensuring data accuracy, enhancing system functionality, and supporting HR operations through effective use of technology.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain the HRIS platform, including system configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.

• Perform regular audits and reconcile discrepancies to ensure data integrity and accuracy within the HRIS.

• Identify opportunities for system enhancements and collaborate with vendors or IT teams to implement improvements and new features.

• Develop and generate HRIS reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.

• Provide support and training to HR staff and end-users, addressing system issues and ensuring effective utilization of the HRIS.

• Coordinate with IT and other departments to integrate the HRIS with other systems and ensure seamless data flow.

• Ensure the HRIS complies with relevant laws and regulations, including data protection and privacy requirements.

• Lead or participate in HRIS-related projects, including system upgrades, new implementations, and process improvements.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of HRIS processes, procedures, and system configurations. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Proficiency in Ceridian and Core HR software

• Experience with About Time software

• Auditing skills and experience, particularly in HR context

• Knowledge and understanding of Benefit Functions

• Strong Compliance skills with an emphasis on HR-related regulations

• Accurate and efficient Data Entry skills

• Prior experience in a managerial role within an HRIS environment

• Ability to manage and maintain confidential and sensitive information

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
