Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
• Diagnose problems in hydraulic and mechanically operated machinery.
• Repair or replace hydraulic components, hoses, valves, cylinders, etc.
• Repair and maintain all in-house equipment.
• Repair or replace gears, shafts, bearings, sprockets, chains, etc.
• Diagnose/troubleshoot problems in electrical motor control circuits.
• Repair above equipment with components as required.
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Building maintenance as required.
• Install additional equipment or move existing equipment with necessary support hookups.
• Record repairs/maintenance accurately.
• Perform quality audit process and update work order with notes upon job completion.
• Clean and organize shop daily.
• Inspect and service cranes, forklifts, and other items needed.
• Adhere to all company safety and environmental policies, procedures, preferred work methods, and actively participate in safety training and initiatives.
Additional Duties for Electrician position:
• Diagnose problems in electronic controls.
• Diagnose problems in robot controllers.
• Repair or replace electronic controls.
• Repair or replace robot controls.
• Diagnose problems in electrical motor control circuits.
• Repair or replace electrical components, relays, solenoids, switches, etc.
• Bend and install conduit and/or “Sealtite”.
• Pull electrical wiring and terminate.
• Cut and thread water, gas, and air piping.
• Assemble threaded, soldered, and plastic piping systems.
• Diagnose and repair printed circuit board.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Des Moines, Iowa.
Work Environment
1st Shift - 7:30am – 4pm
2nd Shift - 4:00pm – 12:30am (Train for 2-6 weeks on 1st shift)
40-45 hour work weeks is average
