TEKsystems Infrastructure Engineer Jr in Des Moines, Iowa
Position Overview: We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer-Jr. with a strong emphasis on customer service and IT support. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service by taking questions from business partners and assisting with their needs.
View and manage client data, help with IT asset management systems, and organize and review hardware inventories.
Look up warranty status on hardware, review requests, and submit security requests for website logins.
Assist business units (BUs) and advisors with technical questions and needs.
Participate in the current hardware refresh project and provide phone support.
Assist with the rollout of new equipment, including imaging, software installation, and handling migrations.
Answer technical calls, emails, and instant messages from business partners.
Training:
- A comprehensive training program with a turnaround time of 4 months.
Required Qualifications:
A 4-year degree.
Relevant internship or professional experience in IT customer service, IT support, or IT troubleshooting.
Basic planning/organizational, time management, decision-making, and superb written/verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality.
Strong problem-solving and big-picture/conceptual skills.
Ability to work with people at all levels and embrace change.
Preferred Experience:
- Call Center or Customer Service experience is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
