Humana Interoperability Relationship Management Principal in Des Moines, Iowa

In this role, you will be leading internal interoperability partner management activities. You will be the Interoperability team’s liaison with internal business partner organizations – and own how these relationships contribute to the success of interoperability.

As the Interoperability Relationship Management Principal, the ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with multiple levels of leadership and developing new concepts. To be successful in this position, you will need (or be able to quickly develop) an understanding of payer-to-provider interoperability and interoperability more broadly in the healthcare payer space. You will work with partners across the Humana ecosystem and help form partnerships that help the function thrive.
Forms and maintain relationships with key leaders across the business to understand key customer problems and match to existing or create new concepts/products in the interoperability portfolio through periodic workgroup meetings
Designs and implements internal partner management program that includes concept intake and scoping, business case development, and pipeline management
Partners with Interoperability product, performance, and recruitment/implementation partners to create recommendations for new concepts or novel product utilization
Utilizes executive governance routines to gain buy in for proposed concepts, manage prioritization, and solve roadblocks

Role Essentials
Bachelor's degree
10 or more years of design, strategy, operations and/or interoperability experience
2 - 5 years or more of project and/or people leadership
Proven abilities in metrics, ROI and business case development
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Experience facilitating meetings
Experience working with cross functional teams, including aligned resources and operational partners
Strong background partnering and influencing other business areas to align on and meet objectives
Proven ability to convert business strategies into measurable results
Ability to translate complex data and findings to senior management, business leaders and external parties
Highly collaborative, flexible, team-oriented working style
Role Desirables
Prior experience working on or around interoperability within the healthcare setting
Knowledge of Medicare Advantage

This role will require 15% travel.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$136,200 - $187,400 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
