The Role

The Project Manager is the primary single point of contact for Specialty process improvements and strategic initiatives spanning Mass Markets Field Operations. Focus will include supporting regional leaders in driving growth and operational efficiencies in the Specialty arena, with a focus on productivity improvements. Inclusive of Design Services/Local Enterprise, Central offices, Customer Premise Equipment, Air Pressure, and 911. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and managing the implementation of initiatives to meet scope, timing and budget expectations and overall project outcomes. This role requires collaboration and communication across national teams including Sales, Operations support, Service Delivery, Service Assurance, Network Planning and Implementation, Training and development, and Enterprise Field Services for the completion of complex solutions to meet business needs and is engaged according to PMO criteria and standards.

Location and Schedule

This is a Work From Home Position in the United States.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Partner with various LUMEN Project Management, Network Implementation, Construction, Service Delivery, Field Operations Teams to oversee and manage prioritized projects and key initiatives supporting Specialty Operations.

  • Drive strategic initiatives and programs that advance the growth and operations of the specialty team functions within Mass Markets Field Operations.

  • Works with field leaders at all levels to identify opportunities for education, coaching and improved processes and tools.

  • Support regional field operations in the implementation of end-to-end processes inclusive of hands-on introduction, feedback, training development and Field compliance.

  • Coordinate with supporting teams including Service Delivery, Service Assurance, Network Planning and Implementation, Training and Development, Enterprise Field Services and others to ensure end-to-end process support.

  • Plan, organize, and manage projects/work activities to attain objectives, deliver on schedule and on budget.

  • Translates opportunities into meaningful programs; executes in a complex, matrixed environment.

  • Designs and delivers effective and innovative communication in multiple methods including creating videos, presentations and other communications leveraging the Microsoft suite.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent and 3+ years related experience in Specialty operations.

  • In depth working knowledge and experience within Specialty Operations arena.

  • Demonstrate self-motivation, the ability to act in a self-directed manner, with a sense of urgency and desire to contribute to the growth of the company.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and clients in parallel in a time sensitive environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively, strong customer communication skills are a requirement

  • Ability to deal with remote client relations through phone, email and online sources in order to enhance the partner experience

  • Demonstrated ability to use and apply business acumen, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Product, Operations and Support

  • Demonstrates positive outlook, growth mindset, customer obsession (external & internal), and openness to diverse perspectives.

Preferred:

  • CAPM or PMP Certification, 4+ years in Project Management Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with Design Services and/or Central Office workflow, or environments.

  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in Specialty operational processes, systems, and network reliability expertise.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$82,969 - $110,625 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY

$87,117 - $116,156 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$91,266 - $121,688 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
