Aerotek Maintenance Lead in Des Moines, Iowa

Now Hiring - Maintenance Technician

Location: Des Moines, Iowa

Schedule: Monday - Friday / 7:00am - 4:00pm / Weekly Pay

Overview: Seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee a highly automated facility, featuring complex electrical control systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive electrical knowledge and experience, particularly with up to 600V circuits and various control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, including up to 600V circuits, low voltage machinery controls, photocells, and VFD motor controls.

  • Perform PLC troubleshooting and minor program edits as necessary.

  • Work on conveyor systems and mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

  • Implement and edit the preventive maintenance (PM) schedule to ensure all equipment is properly maintained.

  • Collaborate with team members to develop structured processes for maintenance operations

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with electrical systems, particularly 3-phase 480V and above.

  • Proficient in PLC troubleshooting and minor programming.

  • Familiarity with conveyor and mechanical systems.

Performance Expectations:

  • Must demonstrate extensive electrical knowledge from day one.

  • Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and mechanical systems effectively.
