The Digital Technology Program Management Office is currently searching for a PMO Operations Analyst / Planview Administrator. The ideal candidate will be a team member to help drive operational efficiency and day-to-day operations of the PMO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, Planview Portfolios Administration experience, proficiency in data visualization tools, excellent organizational skills and accountability to drive operational excellence.

* This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote. *

What YOU will do:

  • You will develop and implement standardized project management processes, tools, and templates to drive efficiency and consistency across all projects.

  • You will maintain and execute enhancements as Administrator for the portfolio management tool (Planview Portfolios) to facilitate project planning and execution, performance reporting, and financial management.

  • You will customize reports, dashboards, and workflows to support PMO metrics and decision-making including use of Power BI.

  • You will utilize AgilePlace for Kanban task backlog management.

  • You will provide training and support to Planview Portfolios and AgilePlace users.

  • You will provide guidance and mentorship on project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to project managers.

  • You will use your analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive results.

  • You will monitor projects’ performance against key metrics, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • You will support continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, executing on opportunities to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

  • You will stay current with Planview updates and best practices to continuously improve system capabilities.

Education & Experience:

  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications you must have:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results.

  • In-depth knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies including Agile.

  • Experience administrating Planview Portfolios and other Planview tools (AgilePlace / Kanbans).

  • Experience with metric dashboard and report development in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
