Aston Carter Sales Support Administrator in Des Moines, Iowa
Sales Support AdministratorJob Duties
Support 3 Account Managers with customer needs and assist other account managers based on work volumes.
Enter customer orders and quotes into the computer system and process Return Authorizations.
Research and follow up on customer orders, including making occasional phone calls to supplier partners, corporate office teams, and customers for back office support.
Obtain Proof of Deliveries from customers and ensure open order reports are current.
Work extensively in Microsoft Excel for order entry and reporting purposes.
Assist in general clerical work such as email/phone correspondence and filing.
Research products that are not currently in the sales portfolio.
Enter, process, and maintain quality events and follow up with customers regarding Accounts Receivable when needed.
Demonstrate a positive attitude, self-starting ability, and strong attention to detail.
Communicate effectively, both via email and phone, and show an interest in process improvement.
Handle challenges, dig into problems, and figure them out independently and as part of a team.
Essential Skills
1+ years of previous sales experience (retail is applicable)
1+ years of administrative/order entry experience.
Customer service skills, including comfort with phone and sales work.
Work Environment
This position is 100% onsite.
All initial training will be done virtually, but you will need to be onsite when working in the role.
You will be supporting a team of 3 salespeople in a small office environment.
The shift is 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
