Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

Job Description

Senior Civil Engineer specializing in the solid waste industry. Responsibilities include client-facing and problem-solving to complete projects in a timely manner. You will oversee projects with a team to provide engineering support to current and future projects within solid waste, primarily focused on landfill and landfill gas systems. Additional responsibilities include permitting and design for solid waste facilities, overseeing and monitoring construction operations, and conducting permits for air quality.

• This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Des Moines, IA

Work Environment

Newly opened office on the outskirts of West Des Moines, open space concept with design, project management, and other supportive teams. You will periodically be in the field meeting with the construction team and clients on-site, as well as in the office collaborating with the design team and other project managers. The office has a wide variety of experience, from leadership to entry-level engineers. The team is close-knit, engaging in social outings and frequent brainstorming sessions, with the objective to provide the best project experience to their clients and take pride in their work
