The Role

We are looking for an accomplished and strategic Senior GSI Partner to spearhead our newly established GSI Partner Development Program. This leader will be instrumental in driving the success of our Global System Integrators (GSI) as they collaborate with our direct sales teams across our Key Large and Mid-Market segments. The ideal candidate is a senior visionary who thrives in a dynamic corporate environment and has a demonstrated ability to inspire and lead teams to achieve outstanding results.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Strategically Identify and Evaluate GSIs : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and select potential GSI partners that align with Lumen’s strategic objectives and market opportunities.

  • Align and Integrate Company Objectives: Work closely with internal teams to ensure that company goals are aligned with co-sell /re-sell initiatives, fostering synergy between Lumen and its GSI partners.

  • Cultivate and Strengthen Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to support the success of partner initiatives and overall business growth.

  • Innovate Partner Integration Processes : Collaborate with product teams to continually refine and innovate processes that enable seamless integration of GSI offerings with Lumen’s solutions, ensuring effortless partner engagement.

  • Lead Internal Awareness Initiatives : Design and execute internal campaigns to raise awareness of GSI solutions, ensuring that field teams are equipped with the necessary tools and assets for success.

  • Support External Visibility Efforts : Partner with marketing and event teams to enhance the visibility of Lumen’s GSI solutions through external campaigns and events.

  • Champion Partner Satisfaction : Collaborate with the Customer and Partner Experience team to ensure that GSIs consistently have a positive and productive experience with Lumen.

  • Ensure Robust Documentation: Oversee the maintenance and updating of document repositories to ensure that industry-specific field assets are readily available and up-to-date.

  • Drive Key Relationships for Growth : Initiate, develop, and support key internal and external relationships critical to achieving Lumen’s growth strategies and objectives.

  • Exemplify Company Values and Leadership : Demonstrate Lumen’s core values, maintain an open and positive demeanor, encourage diverse perspectives, lead the team through change, communicate clearly, recognize achievements, and foster a collaborative team environment.

  • Contribute to Company Success: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support and achieve Lumen’s strategic objectives.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.

  • 15+ years of related experience, with preferably a Master’s degree.

  • Experience working with partner product and sales organizations at a senior level in a large enterprise.

  • Experience driving sales targets through partner influenced and partner sourced deals programmatically

  • Familiarity with the telecommunications industry e.g. Cisco, Juniper, Big Telco or other ancillary industries

  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals and driving growth through GSI partnerships.

This role is pivotal in expanding and optimizing Lumen’s GSI partnerships to drive incremental business, ensuring alignment with company goals, and building strong, mutually beneficial relationships with our Global System Integrators

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

$150,380 - $200,500 in these states: AR ID KY LA ME MS NE SC SD

$158,290 - $211,050 in these states: AL AZ FL GA IA IN KS MO MT ND NM OH OK PA TN UT VT WI WV WY

$166,210 - $221,610 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$174,120 - $232,160 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
