Our Services for People with Disabilities team is searching for a dedicated, energetic full-time Service Coordinator to oversee our Hourly Supported Living Community (SCL) program. This position will oversee the Hourly SCL services that we have in Des Moines, Ames, Marshalltown and Dubuque and surrounding area. This position will be tasked with leading the SCL team in developing remote supports for clients with includes technological supports/monitoring. Our Services for People with Disabilities wrap care around individuals across the state, from providing occasional respite care or weekly services, to 24/7 support in either a shared apartment environment or one-on-one care through our hourly supported community living (SCL) program. What You'll Do

The Service Coordinator of Hourly SCL Services will coordinate and supervise all Hourly Supported Community Living (SCL) services and activities in regions of service. The Service Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that services delivered provide support, assistance, and instruction in areas that facilitate clients' personal growth and independence. The Service Coordinator trains and supervises program supervisors, operates within budget, and ensures compliance with state, federal, and accreditation agencies. Lead team with remote supports for clients.

This position will require some travel as service area includes Polk, Story, Marshall and Dubuque county areas.

What You'll Need

Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor's degree in health or human service related field or education, as well as, three years experience in human services, (disabilities or mental health preferred); plus two years of supervisory experience. A Master's degree is preferred, but not required. A basic knowledge of technological supports/monitoring is a plus!
