Oracle Snr Director, Global Process Owner - Ordering Strategy in Des Moines, Iowa

Job Description

The lead would be responsible for:

  • Managing a team of Global Process Owners and functional experts to administer business processes.

  • Introduce new Go-To-Market rollouts, streamline operations, and address system gap & issues in the Global Ordering areas.

  • Identify, develop, and implement preventative actions towards manual and reworking reduction, and if not elimination.

  • Lead workstreams comprising cross functional teams to drive system & policy transformation.

  • Strategize and build framework for management and business operations reporting, in conjunction with changes to systems & policies due to corporate initiatives.

  • Foster changes and facilitate move to Oracle Cloud for Internal and External stakeholders.

  • Mitigate financial & control risks and bring predictability & efficiency to the accounting close process, including audit engagements.

  • Create executive summaries to enable executive decision making and drive business process transformation.

Responsibilities

Plans, manages, and controls the activities of a team that provides operational support for a business segment, group or team. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership and compliance with procedures, etc. Advises business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.

More specifically the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and establish engagement guidelines, viz., process flows, general roles and responsibilities between the Sales Operation and other Oracle Global Finance partners to support Revenue and Non-Revenue ordering.

  • Build a coalition with various internal stakeholders – Global Process Owners, Product Development, IT Support, Corporate Systems Strategy Teams, and others to secure understanding on New Product and Process roll outs.

  • Present and articulate complex concepts and ideas to stakeholders in a persuasive manner to secure their support.

  • Enhance finance controls, build and automate operations and accounting close reporting.

  • Develop people and process scalability through enhancement of skills and process knowledge of the team.

The role prerequisites includes but not limited to the following:

  • Experience in managing Global Finance Processes

  • Driving large enterprise system and process transformation

  • Executive Updates

  • Leading & motivating experienced global teams

US: Hiring Range: from $139,300 to $291,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
