Description We are in search of a Senior Accounting Manager who will be based in DES MOINES, Iowa. The role will involve overseeing accounting operations and strategies, providing insightful financial reporting, and developing the accounting team. The successful candidate will work within the finance industry and will play an integral part in both operational support and strategic insights.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the coordination of annual budget and audit, and fostering strong relationships with external and internal partners.

• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures while providing advanced finance and analytical services.

• Researching on financial accounting, including financial accounting standards, emerging issues, and new business development.

• Implementing financial process improvements and assessing ways to streamline processes.

• Reviewing and providing analysis of monthly performance, including overall financial performance and accurate financial projections, income, and cash flow.

• Coordinating general accounting and administrative responsibilities.

• Utilizing skills in ADP - Financial Services, Accounting Functions, Month-end Close Activities, Forecasting & Modeling, and MS Dynamics 365 Business Central.

• Developing the accounting team and conducting financial planning and analysis.

• Providing insightful financial reporting to senior leadership. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services

• Demonstrated ability in handling Accounting Functions

• Experience with Month-end Close Activities

• Ability to produce Month-end Reports

• Familiarity with Month-end Financials

• Skilled in Forecasting & Modeling

• Proficient in using MS Dynamics 365 Business Central

• Strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Strong leadership and team management abilities

• Proven experience in a similar role

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• CPA or relevant qualification is preferred

• Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office and financial software applications.
