Aston Carter Supply Chain Project Coordinator in Des Moines, Iowa

Aston Carter is partnered with a leader in the fabrication industry that is looking to add a Project Coordinator to their logistics/supply chain team. This position is 100% onsite in Des Moines, Iowa.

Description:

  • Monitoring the daily progress of projects, manage projects - Handle all paperwork when it comes to shipping, successfully analyze parts and parts numbers.

  • Scheduling - Work directly with freight brokers to arrange freight. Know where the load is - Be able to manage and "own" your calendar part for any given project.

  • Understand process and importance of relationship building with customers. Understand the product and be willing to engage.

  • Organizing reports, invoices, contracts, and other financial files for easy access

  • Assist with Purchasing duties

  • Quoting

  • Planning meetings and organizing project logistics

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Self sufficient, detail oriented, positive attitude (customer service skills)

-Bachelor Degree would be nice to have (Supply Chain Management, Business)

-Purchasing, Buying, Scheduling experience

-Logistics/Supply Chain experience

-Project Coordinator experience
