Transformation Consultant (Contractor position – 9 months)
As a Transformation Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting the PSI business through change management of its operations and channel for test takers and candidates. This role will provide change consultancy services to assess, plan, manage and enable effective business change for PSI; focusing on transforming our organizational design, delivery, use of technology to support efficiencies and evolving the performance, culture and engagement of our workforce. This consultancy will provide measurable impact and improvements to support PSI in delivering excellent customer service, test taker experience and business culture.
This role is a blend of stakeholder and project management, solution and process design and change management with a focus on supporting our Operations and HR teams and the wider business through their transformation journey.
Responsibilities:
Lead the execution of change management strategies, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of business change, cultural change, technology transformation, adoption, and effective, measurement of business impact.
Analyze current business infrastructure, design and processes in a critical manner plan and provide a comprehensive report on data found to support the strategic direction of the Company
Assess the change impact- carry out change impact assessments across ensuring all aspects of change are captured – system, process, culture, roles and skills, technology
Define and manage a thorough transformation roadmap and implementation plan.
Provide change management solutions aligned with business objectives, to improve the productivity and efficiency of Operations within the business
Monitor and evaluate the progress of change initiatives, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement, and making necessary adjustments to achieve desired outcomes.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to project teams and stakeholders throughout the change process.
Engage and collaborate with the business to define and embed new ways of working.
Always maintain a high level of governance; ensuring that activity reports and stage gates task lists are completed within the SLA.
Leading a cross functional team of stakeholders to deliver all aspects of transformation, ensuring alignment and support for change initiatives.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure any potential challenges are addressed proactively to support successful change adoption.
Work with leadership teams to drive consistent and positive message about the changes – using a change network approach
Create and execute communication and stakeholder plans to engage users, support the business, and facilitate change
Development of engagement packs and materials, ensuring alignment with key project messaging
Work with the HR and training delivery teams to ensure alignment of learning, development and training activities
Partnering with the HR & Operations team to align all cultural and engagement activities and measuring the impact of these changes
Assist with preparation and execution of business readiness assessments and adapt change plans where needed based on outcomes
Be an effective communicator to liaise with senior stakeholders and deliver excellent consultancy and partnership
Exact KPI’s and deliverables will be agreed upon appointment and will be in line with the transformation of our Test Center Network, employee engagement and operational efficiencies
Travel Requirements: Some travel across US will be required to visit our Test Centers as part of the discovery and assessment stage
Skills Required:
Experience of leading Business & HR transformation.
Experience of leading and delivery of organizational change management projects
Background in developing change solutions on large scale, complex transformation projects
Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
Strong project management skills of large scale transformation and implementation projects, preferably within operational or business process improvement.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proactive, independent and self-starter
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with a strategic mindset when managing risks and issues
Communication skills: strong presentation/ communication / facilitation skills (oral and written)
Business Process and re-design experience
Project and/or Change Management qualification preferred but not essential
Exhibits strong leadership abilities as role model, partner and mentor to project teams and clients
Results-focused with strong business acumen combined with analytical and structured thinking
Consulting skills, including: team facilitation, conflict management, business case development
Ability to work in high pressure, rapidly changing environment whilst dealing with ambiguity and diversion opinions
