DIAGONAL COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT Technology Coordinator in Diagonal, Iowa
General Definition of Work Establishing and maintaining system-wide computer technology, software, hardware, and server services for the school system, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Superintendent. Leadership is provided to volunteers.
Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Essential Functions Administers and configures operating systems, email exchange servers with SMTP and SSL protocols, and security. Administers and configures content filter and anti-virus software. Collaborates with district administration for the planning and funding of future goals; implements new technology trends. Administers and configures active user directory and group policy along with server update services. Manages website design, configuration; implements application forms. Manages student information system and database. Administers and configures financial server and database, network print servers, file servers, and all servers. Manages wireless network and security. Facilitates user training for technology. Administers district telephone, communications, and bell system.
