FirstChoice Leaders fill vital interim leadership roles across our nationwide healthcare system, providing support where it's needed most.

LOCATION : MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center, Dubuque, Iowa

WEEKS : 13 Weeks with option to extend

HOURS : 40 Hours

Pay: $3200.00 Gross weekly plus $1150.00 stipend for travel if live 60+ miles from facility.

What you will need:

  • Current Registered Nurse License to practice in the State of Iowa.

  • Graduate of an accredited professional school.

  • Prior proven experience and expertise in management, having had a leadership position for at least 1 year.

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of acute care clinical experience.

  • American Heart Association BLS Certification

  • American Heart Association ACLS Certification.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Clinical leadership skills with the ability to use knowledge and methods of working with/through people in performing day to day job functions.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with other hospital employees, physicians, and guests in a helpful, courteous manner.

  • Competent to provide care within the Cardiology/Radiology Departments to the population described in the Scope of Services.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Job requires mobility to perform many technical functions.

  • Job requires use of hands for repetitive actions, fine manipulations, and simple grasping.

  • Job requires bending, stooping, reaching above shoulder level, pushing and pulling (21% - 50% of time).

  • Daily chance of exposure to ionizing radiation.

  • Must be able to assist with moving patients weighing more than 60 lbs. (20-34% of time).

  • Must demonstrate the ability to interact with others in a helpful and courteous manner.

  • Must be able to see at a near visual acuity level.

  • Must be able to speak; must be able to hear speech.
