[Job description [Forever Cabinets, a division of Kendrick, Inc., is looking for a self-motivated, skilled, hardworking Cabinet Stainer/Sander/Scuffer, to join our custom cabinet manufacturing team in Edgewood, IA. We are seeking a dedicated individual with experience in a production cabinet or furniture shop environment. - Collaborate with designers and cabinet makers to produce an exceptional product.
- Prepare wood surfaces, ensuring they are free from imperfections.
- Apply coatings such as stains, paints, varnishes using a variety of methods.
- Attention to detail, ensuring even and consistent application to enhance the aesthetic appeal to bring out the natural beauty of the wood.
- Work closely with supervisors to expedite workflow.
- Quality control and inspection to make sure all inconsistencies are touched up to ensure a flawless final product.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of various staining, painting, and other techniques to achieve the desired appearance.
Proficient in using hand tools for cabinet finishing.

Ability to multitask, work under pressure and complete jobs with demanding deadlines while paying great attention to detail.
