Exira-Elk Horn- Kimballton Community School District is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Football Coach to join our dynamic coaching team. As an Assistant Football Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting the head coach in all aspects of the football program, including player development, strategy implementation, and team management.
Duties:
Assist the head coach in planning and executing engaging and effective practice sessions.
Provide individualized coaching to players to enhance their skills and performance on the field.
Analyze game footage to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for upcoming matches.
Collaborate with other coaching staff to create game plans and tactics tailored to each opponent.
Mentor and motivate players to foster a positive team environment and sportsmanship.
Ensure compliance with all league regulations and safety protocols during practices and games.
Attend team meetings, scouting sessions, and other football-related events as required.
Qualifications:
Previous experience playing or coaching football at the high school or collegiate level.
Strong knowledge of football rules, techniques, and strategies.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively work with players and coaching staff.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on the team's schedule.
Certification in CPR/AED and First Aid (preferred).
Passion for developing young athletes both on and off the field.
