We are seeking a dedicated Language Arts Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for literature, writing, and language arts education. As a Language Arts Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to develop their language skills and appreciation for literature. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum - Teach students various aspects of language arts including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills - Utilize learning technology to enhance classroom instruction - Provide individualized support to students through tutoring and additional assistance - Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning atmosphere - Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and student progress - Conduct research to enhance teaching methods and materials - Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master's degree is a plus - Experience working with students in a classroom setting - Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues - Knowledge of linguistics and language arts theories - Ability to incorporate math concepts into language arts lessons is beneficial
