Shift: This role is 1st Shift, with various start times-various end times

Hourly Rate: $29.12 an hour

Conagra Brands is looking for a Utility Technician at the Fort Madison, IA manufacturing plant. Conagra offers you a starting wage of $29.12 per hour with a targeted standard wage of $30.95 per hour and shift differentials of $0.45 for 2nd shift and $1.00 for 3rd shift. You will operate the systems, provide technical support to maintain the system's performance reliability, basic operations and to modify controls and systems to meet customer requests. You will report to the Maintenance Manager.

You will be involved in the following responsibilities:

· Refrigeration systems (supporting the Process Safety Management Program on the plants ammonia refrigeration system),

· HVAC systems

· Compressed Air Systems

· Water Systems

· Steam Boiler Systems

· Fire Protection Systems

· Work weekends or shift work

· You will be on-site at the Fort Madison, IA manufacturing plant

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma

· 3-5 years of HVAC service experience OR an HVAC certification/diploma or completed apprenticeship program AND 1 year of HVAC field experience.

· Must have the required Universal EPA certification for handling refrigerants

· Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen

· Able to lift / push / pull up to 40 lbs. consistently

· Perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including: standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces
