     Dallas Center-Grimes, a progressive, growing Central Iowa District, with an enrollment of 3,800 + students, is seeking an Activities Director to promote the highest level of student involvement in extra-curricular activities and performance for all students beyond the classroom. The Director will provide leadership in the development, articulation, and coordination of student activities.Qualifications:Professional Administrator License or Activities Director Certification (Required)Iowa BoEE Endorsement Evaluator Approval (Required)Minimum of three years successful education/activities/leadership experience.Previous supervisory and/or administrative experience.Knowledge of current and best practices in the assigned area.Demonstrates a well-developed background in student activities.Exceptional writing, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.Ability to schedule, coordinate and execute events.An ability to utilize, analyze and interpret data for decision makingCommunicates effectively, proactively, and respectfully with staff, parents, and other stakeholders.Ability to work collaboratively with other district administrators and faculty to move the school district forward.Holds onto the district’s mission and core values while demonstrating integrity, accountability, sincerity, patience, flexibility and humility.Ability to coach and lead professional development.Defined understanding of student development in the area of extra-curricular programing.Ability to recruit, hire, evaluate and retain staff in your area.Full Job Description - Director of Activities (https://acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:US:183e331e-0cf5-4c9e-87f4-ecc3d984920e)
