Position Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Assistant Coach and play a vital role in shaping the future of our student-athletes! In collaboration with the Head Coach, you’ll contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive environment that prioritizes student-athlete development. Your efforts will directly impact the success of our student-athletes both on and off the field, as you work to build a thriving culture, recruit talented prospective students, and help advance the mission of our College and Athletic Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and guide specific sub-groups of student-athletes, fostering growth and development both athletically and personally.

  • Assist in practice planning, video review, and strategy sessions to enhance team performance.

  • Play an active role in the program’s recruiting efforts, including outreach, communication, and coordinating visits for prospective student-athletes.

  • Advance player retention initiatives to ensure a supportive and engaging experience for all team members.

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the men’s soccer program, contributing to its overall success.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

  • Passion for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the athletic community.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and inspire motivation in others.

  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage tasks efficiently while balancing multiple responsibilities.

  • Effective communication skills across various platforms, ensuring clear and open dialogue with team members and staff.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a soccer program, whether as a coach or player, is highly valued.

  • Certification in CPR /First Aid, demonstrating a commitment to safety and preparedness.

  • A track record of success in recruiting and coaching Division III student-athletes.

  • Familiarity with NCAA Division III and conference rules and regulations, ensuring compliance and ethical conduct.
