Site Operational Excellence Generalist
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will provide daily tactical operational excellence support for a manufacturing site or sites within a cross site area, and track and support improvement projects, onePSS (One Production System) sustainment, and One Management System at the site.
As site SME, demonstrate a robust understanding of onePSS methodology, lean/agile content, and change management approach to situationally coach and catalyze the evolution of onePSS.
Review opportunities and findings at specific squads/units and facilitate sharing across peer squads/units and enabling Operational Excellence teams.
Support the implementation of change while enabling solutions to roadblocks.
Ensure the recommendations and actions are mission focused and improve value for site processes, our products, and customers.
Catalyze prioritized initiatives through 90-day cycles and agile methodology, coaching teams to lean/agile process improvements.
Demonstrate and execute the DSO mindsets and principles and works with Squads and Mission teams with a daily tactical focus to ensure sustainment of onePSS at the site.
Share onePSS learnings and best practices in collaboration with peers and off-site Operational Excellence roles/One Management System.
Identify site needs and act as a primary point of contact to pull support from Off-Site SME’s within Operational Excellence areas of focus.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required qualifications
BS with 4 years or High School diploma with 7 years of experience in operations and management areas
Prior Experience working in Production System Environment
Preferred qualifications
Exposure to planning tools like Anaplan, procurement platform (Coupa), workforce planning (e.g., Workday), and BI tools/dashboards (e.g., Tableau)
Sophisticated Excel & business modeling skills (pivot tables, V-look ups, Macros, etc.)
Experience in Technology or Software industry
Master's degree and/or CPA
WHAT WE OFFER
Base salary estimated range between $84,352.00 - $126,528.00 annually, depending on the hiring location. You may also be offered bonuses, RSUs cash equivalent, or commission.
Lean/Agile certification, Six-sigma certification, PSM1, etc.
Leadership experience in manufacturing or supply chain
Experience in managing and developing teams
Skilled at influencing, teaching/facilitating, and negotiating with cross-functional teams
Demonstration of courage/candor and initiative in past assignments
