GRUNDY CENTER COMMUNITY SCHOOL Student Success Teacher in Grundy Center, Iowa
Grundy Center Community School is seeking a Student Success Teacher who is committed to educating students who enroll in our 9-12 Alternative School Program.
We are looking for a positive, student-focused leader who can foster a respectful, nurturing, and safe classroom environment. Candidates must possess or be able to obtain a valid Iowa teaching license with a Secondary 5-12 teaching endorsement. This position is highly visible within the district, so strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to consistently follow through on responsibilities are essential.
The Grundy Center At-Risk Department offers a flexible education program designed for high school students who thrive in smaller class sizes and individualized learning plans, where students work at their own pace and focus on one class at a time. Our program provides opportunities for students to develop academic skills, recover credits, receive counseling support, and, for those in high school, earn an alternative diploma.

The Grundy Center Community School District participates in the North Iowa Cedar League Conference, has approximately 725 students enrolled K-12. This role will leverage our 1:1 technology and Capturing Kids Hearts initiative to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
