    What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing and optimizing electrical and electromechanical assembly processes that meet the customer’s build requirements. This includes deep experience in analyzing customer prints, drawings and bills of materials, as well as assessing the labor, fixturing and tooling requirements to ensure a successful outsourcing engagement

  • Collaborating with our customers and internal teams including Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain and Production to understand, develop and onboard new contract assembly opportunities

  • Preparing and participating in regular OEM design reviews

  • Designing, developing, executing, and evaluating customer-driven testing requirements, including but not limited to, functional, in-circuit, hi-pot, and megger as well as product specifications and process validation

  • Establishing operations processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations including UL and others

  • Developing training processes and documentation for electrical assemblies

  • Serving as a technical point of contact for customers to address inquires and provide technical expertise throughout project (both internally and external)

  • Managing a project budget

  • Interpreting Bill of Materials for electrical products, ensuring accuracy and completeness

  • Acting as key stakeholder in the assessment and selection of new technologies and how they are onboarded across facilities

  • Lifting 20-50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 10-15 lbs. of force frequently

  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor of Science or advanced degree from an accredited school or two-year technical associate degree in Electrical/Electro-Mechanical Engineering (or related field/curriculum having an Electrical concentration). Significant commensurate experience may be considered.

  • Minimum 5 years practical technical experience in the creative electro-mechanical, electronics assembly processes, including participation in assembly, integration, troubleshooting, and testing of complex electrical, electromechanical, and automated systems.

  • Contract manufacturing/outsourced electro-mechanical assembly or subassembly

  • Experience working with Sales, and Customer on project requirements

  • Experience in standard project management activities, such as, but not limited to: client interaction, budget management, process improvement, and data analysis (required)

  • Knowledge of PLC programing software is a plus

  • Proficient in reading electrical schematics and vendor application drawing
