Job Title: Carpenter

Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the framework of commercial buildings and other structures in accordance with construction plans. Duties include using plumb bobs and levels to ensure precise structure alignment, constructing window and door frames, staircases, and flooring, as well as installing temporary supports for structures as required.

Hard Skills:

• Measuring, cutting, and shaping lumber, wood, and other building materials

• Attaching building materials using screws, nuts, and bolts

• Erecting temporary structures such as scaffolds and hoists

• Performing repairs on existing framework structures

• Analyzing blueprints and drawings

• Identifying potential structural problems

• Examining building materials to identify defects

• Performing job site cleanups
