Permanent full-time position Wage: $64,584.00 - $82,347.20 (starting wage contingent upon experience) Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Job summary: The Family Self-Sufficiency Coordinator provides administration of family self-sufficiency and resident opportunity and self-sufficiency programs and education services to City Housing Authority program participants to enhance employment and other self-sufficiency skills.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited educational institution and one year of related experience; or five years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or related. Experience in program coordination, social service delivery, or case management. Family Self-Sufficiency for Housing and Urban Development Programs Certification within twelve months of hire. Valid State of Iowa drivers license with satisfactory driving record. Must be 18 years of age. Must pass criminal background check.
Preferred qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited educational institution; or four years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Public Housing Authority certifications.
