Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required
Successful experience writing and managing grant programs preferred

Job Goal(s):
In partnership with the Administration team, this position will write grant applications and coordinate granted funded programs including the performance of complex and/or sensitive activities; may manage large-scale, long-term projects; and performs related duties as required or assigned.
Position Responsibilities:
May represent the business department in meetings, planning sessions, or formal presentations related to grant applications and funding
May act as the lead in team, project, or program activities

Serves as a resource for school-based administration and staff
Job Specific Responsibilities
Responsible for conducting the full range of activities required to prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals to foundation, corporate, or government sources.
Researches grant opportunities (e.g. facility improvements, professional development, curriculum development, administrative needs) for the purpose of developing additional funding resources for both current and proposed services, programs and administrative operations as well as serving as a clearinghouse for potential grant funding opportunities.
Collaborates with necessary departments to determine appropriate grants to pursue.
Responsible for financial management of grant funds, including budgets, submission of claims, meeting established reporting and implementation deadlines, and maintaining necessary documentation.
Writes reports and necessary grant documentation following a grant application and award.
In coordination with the Chief Financial Officer, monitors the financial management of grants (budget preparation, budget adjustments, expenditures, etc.) for the purpose of complying with all programs and funding guidelines of awarding organizations.
Builds partnerships with community agencies and local foundations
Plan, develop, oversee and evaluate overall programs, services, and activities to ensure they meet grant objectives and the needs and interests of students.
Ensure the establishment and implementation of all grant requirements including:
Policies and procedures that fulfill the requirements of the grants
Reporting of student data and information to meet the grant reporting requirements
Ensure that grant-related timelines are met
Compile regular reports reflecting all necessary data
Perform other duties as assigned.
