Description:

Looking for a fleet/warehouse manager for their Iowa City location. Main responsibility will be as a hands on fleet manager consisting of annual inspections, repairs on box trucks, tractors, 18 wheelers, minivans etc. This candidate will ideally be ASE certified and either has their CDL or would willing to obtain one once they go direct. Candidate will triage and schedule repairs, service, inspect, diagnose based on importance : from changing breaks, filters, wheels/tires, etc. Order parts and maintain inventory. Manage relationships with external providers to ensure quality and cost effective services. Annual inspections, pre and post inspections. Maintain comprehensive PM program (use of technology to log and track repairs)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVE: 2+ years of heavy mechanical experience AND/OR technical degree in related field.

Clean driving record and up to date license

ASE Medium-Heavy Truck Certification

Excellent organizational leadership skills.

Task-oriented mindset, servant leadership style.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Computer skills
