Maintenance Worker I - Transit Transit Division Transportation Services Department

One permanent full time position available Full salary range: $43,222.40 - $55,411.20 (starting wage contingent upon experience) Hours: Monday - Friday, 5:00pm - 1:30am
Job summary: Under immediate direction, performs work of routine difficulty in the cleaning and maintenance of City buses and equipment.
Minimum Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure, Other High school education or G.E.D. and four to six months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid State of Iowa driver's license with satisfactory driving record. Must be 18 years of age. Must pass criminal background check.
Preferred Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure, Other High school education or G.E.D. and seven to twelve months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in custodial services or related.
