Description

We are looking to bring on board an Assistant Controller in Urbandale, Iowa. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and ensuring month-end close procedures are completed in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all accounting functions within the organization.

• Prepare and present accurate financial statements.

• Ensure timely completion of month-end close procedures.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate records.

• Prepare and post journal entries as required.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

• Monitor and analyze financial data and report on financial performance.

• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

• Participate in preparation for the annual audit.

Requirements • Proficiency in performing all Accounting Functions

• Expertise in Financial Statement analysis

• Ability to prepare Financial Statements

• Experience in conducting Month End Close procedures

• Skilled in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Proficiency in creating and managing Journal Entries
