As a Group Homes Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day to day supervision and 24 hour operation of one ChildServe group home. Responsibilities include overseeing the hiring, training, and performance of staff. You will also monitor overall budget and make sure that the home is compliant with state regulations. Along with the occasional direct care, you will work directly with the families and other professionals to help facilitate and coordinate the children and young adult's individual care plan. This role has potential to move into a Group Homes Lead Supervisor.

Benefits and Compensation
The starting pay for this position is $50,000/ year and increases with education and experience.
This role is full-time and eligible for health benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, and a 403B retirement account. PTO is frontloaded upon hire and starts accruing immediately.
When You'll Work:
Generally standard business hours, Monday-Friday with rotating on-call evenings and weekends. 24/7 accountability; therefore, flexible schedule as operational and medical needs present.
What You'll Do
Staffing Responsibilities:
Selects and trains the Shift Supervisors and Resident Assistants.
Supervises and evaluates assigned staff.
Provides effective coaching on opportunities to better support children and young adults.
Assures all staff are trained and demonstrate knowledge of 24 hour care supervision for children.
Ensure minimum staff to resident ratio.
Assist that staff attend all mandatory/required training and participate in on-going development of skills.
Monitors house operational budget. Works collaboratively with the Intermediate Care Service Manager and/or the Residential Program Director on budgetary issues.
Ensure physical facilities are kept clean and well maintained and that all necessary supplies are available to staff.
Care Management:
Serves as the resident's primary staff advocate.
Partners with the resident's family to the level the family is comfortable with in order to plan the resident's care.
Facilitates Individual Program Plan meetings. Utilizes the IPP forum to gather information, share ideas, determine program direction, and partner with families.
Ensure that each resident's strengths, needs, and priorities, established by the Interdisciplinary Team, are integrated into each resident's Individual Program Plan.
Completes monthly case reviews to ensure proper program implementation and documentation.
Program Review:
Serves as the liaison to IFMC for residents to ensure certification and to relay appropriate admission and discharge information.
Works closely with Department of Inspection and Appeals to ensure program compliance to Federal and State Regulations governing the functioning of ICF.
Ensures programs are developed for all identified priority needs.
Ensures training on programs in conducted. Provides training on programs as needed.
Acts as liaison to educational services for residents.
Completes statistical reports as required.
What You'll Need
Education: Minimum of BA/BS degree in a human service related area.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in ICF/DD field. Must meet QIDP qualifications. One year of supervisory experience required.
Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
Must be willing/able to become an approved driver for ChildServe.
Preferred: Certified Medication Aide (CMA), Medication Manager, or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certifications.
