Description
We have an opening for a Learning and Development Coordinator. This team member plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s talent development initiatives by coordinating training programs, managing logistics, maintaining learning systems, and assisting in the development and delivery of engaging learning experiences. This role ensures smooth execution of learning activities and supports the team in fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement.
Schedule and Location
Work is completed Monday through Friday during general business hours on-site at the Johnston location.
What You'll Do
Training Program Coordination
Schedule and organize training sessions, workshops, and events, ensuring effective communication with participants and stakeholders.
Manage enrollment and track attendance for in-person and virtual training programs.
Coordinate logistics such as venue booking, catering, equipment setup, and distribution of materials.
Learning Management System (LMS) Administration
Maintain and update course content, user records, and system settings in the LMS.
Generate and distribute reports on training completion and effectiveness metrics.
Troubleshoot user issues and provide technical support as needed.
Assess and improve LMS workflows and user experience
Stay updated on LMS trends and advancements to recommend new features or systems
Support Development and Delivery
Assist in the development and production of training materials, including eLearning modules, presentations, and handouts.
Collaborate with trainers and subject matter experts to ensure materials meet organizational goals and standards.
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a point of contact for staff and leaders regarding learning opportunities and resources.
Promote learning initiatives through internal communication channels, promoting high participation and engagement.
General Administrative Support
Maintain training calendars, records, and documentation.
Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for leadership and team meetings.
What You'll Need
Associates degree, bachelors preferred.
Two years of experience in medical environment, human services, human resources, training and staff development, or other professional administrative support role required. College degree will be considered in lieu of years of experience.
Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing and speaking the English language.
