Description You will be responsible for preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, creating budgets and forecasts, preparing audits, and managing internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Your responsibilities in this role
Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
Partake in various department-wide initiatives
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process Requirements - Month end closings experience preferred
Account reconciliation experience required
Proficiency in account reconciliation
Solid understanding of budget forecasting
Adeptness in financial statement preparation
Month end closings experience highly desired
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
Exceptional time management skills preferred
Efficient in ERP systems
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
2+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills
